If the music of the '70s and '80s touches your soul, you need to party with us!

No other musical legends inspire moods, moves, and memories like The Commodores, The Bar-Kays, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Eddie Floyd, and Kool and the Gang. And no other Central Iowa band performs '70s and ‘80s funk, pop, R&B, ballads, and even smooth jazz fusion and sizzling Latin rhythms with more polish and passion than GRUVE.

Saxophonist Bryan Schumacker, trumpeter Dave Kobberdahl, bassist Pete VanDeRiet, drummer Chandler Bowerman and Eric Sickler on keyboards combine decades of musical experience to breathe new energy into some of the greatest music ever written.

Here's a sampling of Gruve's totally tubular tunes...

Glory of love

Breaking up is hard to do

Just the two of us

Still with you

The last time

I've got you under my skin

Ordinary people

What a wonderful world

At last

Ribbon in the sky

Steamroller blues

Walk on by

You are the sunshine of my life

Here in my heart

Every breath you take

Black magic woman

Under the boardwalk

Sunday morning

Pretty woman

Moon dance

Route 66

Mercy mercy mercy

How sweet it is to be loved by you

My girl

Brown-eyed girl

I get a kick out of you

What becomes of the broken hearted

Always something there to remind me

St Louis blues

Save the last dance for me

I love being here with you

Don't you worry about a thing

Things we said today

Isn't she lovely

I feel good

Sir Duke

Heard it through the grapevine

Mustang Sally

Knock on wood

I wish

Sweet home Chicago

Midnight hour

Unchain my heart

My funny valentine

Girl from Ipanema

Let's fall in love

Without a song

Like someone in love

Watch what happens

It's only a paper moon

Nearness of you

My foolish heart

Sunny side of the street

Night and day

Wee small hours of the morning

Get here

The more I see you

Don’t get around much anymore

Blame it on my youth

Beautiful love

Fly me to the moon

Foggy day

Gentle rain

Black Orpheus

Take the A train

Body and soul

I'll remember April

All of me

All blues

Autumn leaves

Someday my prince will come

All the things you are

A night in Tunisia

There will never be another you

Song for my father

Blue monk

Cantaloupe island

Run for cover

Mr magic

Killer Joe

Tenor madness

Trane's blues
